Planning your day at the Frontiers in Flight Airshow 2026? This guide answers the most frequently asked questions, so you know what to bring, what’s allowed, and what to expect throughout the weekend.

What Should I Bring?
Water
- Drinking water in bottles (no glass bottles).
- Water refill stations will be available in the general public parking lot and on the airshow ramp.
- Bottled water available for purchase.
Recommended Attire
- Sunscreen
- Hearing protection
- Comfortable shoes
- Visor hats or baseball caps
- Sunglasses
- Pen for autographs
Viewing Essentials
- Cameras
- Video recorders
- Binoculars
- Tripods
Small Items Allowed
- Bags & purses smaller than 1 cubic foot (not required to be clear; subject to screening)
- Personal umbrellas
Larger Items Allowed
- Collapsible seating (folding/camp chairs)
- Blankets
- Wheelchairs and other medical devices
Children’s Items
- Strollers
- Wagons
- Diaper bags (including backpack-style) smaller than 1 cubic foot
- Formula/breast milk
- Baby/toddler food
- Hearing protection
Other Suggestions
- Sufficient gas in your vehicle in case of traffic congestion
- Credit cards / Cash (NO ATMs on-site)

Please do not bring the following:
- Walkie-talkies / HAM radios / Scanners
- Weapons of any kind
- Alcohol
- Illegal drugs
- Toys resembling firearms
- Outside food and drink (excluding water)
- Marijuana / CBD oil
- Flammable items / Fireworks
- Tents or canopies
- Walking sticks (non-medical)
- Spray paint / Silly string
- Wheeled recreational devices
- Drones (UAVs)
- Cooking equipment
- Coolers or glass containers
- Large bags
Entry & Exit FAQs
Do I need a military ID?
No, this event is open to the public.
Non-US Citizens (18+): Bring a passport or permanent resident alien card.
US Citizens (18+): Bring a valid government-issued ID (e.g., Real ID driver’s license, or passport).
How much do tickets cost?
Admission and parking are completely free. Premium seating is available for purchase.
Will there be handicapped parking available?
Yes. Accessible parking is available for properly tagged vehicles.
Attendees who are wheelchair-bound may fill out a request form for an accessible parking pass.
Is tailgating allowed?
No. Parking lots are for event access only.
Can I leave and return to the show?
Yes, but you’ll need to go through security screening again.
Can I take a ride share (Uber, Lyft, etc.)?
Highly discouraged. There are no designated pick-up areas and all lanes will be used for traffic flow, making retrieval very difficult.
General Event FAQs
When are the Thunderbirds performing?
Performance times are to be determined and will be announced closer to the event.
Are there upgraded seating tickets?

Do food/souvenir vendors take cards?
Most do accept major credit cards.
Note: There are no ATMs on-site — bring any desired cash with you.
Will there be food and drinks for purchase?
Yes. Food, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (with ID), and souvenirs will be available.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
No. Alcohol may only be purchased on-site with valid ID.
Will there be restrooms?
Yes. Portable restrooms will be available throughout the venue.
What happens if it rains?
Rain may delay certain flying acts. The show will proceed unless conditions pose a safety risk.
Will there be any shade?
The open flight line has limited shade.
Will there be medical services?
Yes. Medical tents (marked with red crosses) will be available.
In emergencies, call 911.
Can I take pictures or livestream?
Absolutely! Photography and video are encouraged.

Will there be an AMC Pass Day this year?

I have to work on base during the airshow. Can I access my office?
Yes, with your DoD ID card.
I have a marked parking spot at my building. Can I use it?
No. All parking lots will be blocked unless you have a special access placard.
